TapIt® Turnip 1 Acre

Under the soil, TapIt® Turnip grows an elongated taproot like a daikon radish. This taproot can really “Tap Into” hard, heavy clay soil layers to reduce compaction.   The great root growth of this variety provides access to moisture and nutrients that are below the compaction layer, improving growing conditions for the cash crop.   Above the soil, animals can feed on the nutrient dense purple top foliage and bulb. The leaves of TapIt® grow upright, making it an ideal choice for blends.  Other brassica leaves grow horizontally, shading out neighboring plants.   If you can only choose one brassica – “TapIt®.”
