Brown Top Millet 2 Acres
Browntop Millet is a rapidly maturing grass that performs well as a catch crop, cover, nurse crop or for erosion control. Turkeys, pheasants, doves and ducks love the seeds. One under-utilized and not well-known benefit of Browntop is that it is one of the few species that can suppress root-knot nematodes and bioremediate lead and zinc in contaminated soils.
